Weekly Club Breakfast:

A number of club members meet every Saturday morning for breakfast. Currently, we are meeting at Egg City in Haines City. Check the calendar on this website to see the rotation schedule.  Come join us at 7:30 AM for some good food and livley conversation. Please check the calendar to verify that the location or time hasn't changed. Call 863-326-9397 for more details.

 

Monthly Club Meeting:

Our meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.

We are meeting at Shack's BBQ, 3000 Cypress Gardens Rd., Winter Haven, FL 33844.

Central Florida Steet Rod AssociationThe CFSRA was formed by some local car nuts in 1989. Several of those charter members are still active participants in the club today.

Some members are also members of NSRA and the club provides support of NSRA by running games at some of the NSRA events.

In addition to helping club members and other street rodders, we have also chosen to give back to the community through proceeds from our annual Fathers Day Rod Run car show.

 

2024 Fathers Day Rod Run

 

             

The 35th Annual Central Florida Street Rod Association Fathers Day Rod Run was held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Christina Park in Lakeland at the intersection of 540A and South Florida Avenue about 3 miles south of the Polk Parkway.

Weather was great and we had 137 registered participants. We provided two large tents for additional shade and in case it rained. Registration and parking went smoothly and everyone said they had a great time.

Proceeds from our annual Fathers Day Rod Run car show will benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida. The Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida (BCFCF) is five years old and modeled after the successful work of their parent chapter, the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO), located in southwest Missouri. The mission of the Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida (BCFCF) is to ease the financial worries of local Central Florida breast cancer patients and their families.

Next years show will be held on June 14, 2025 at Christina Park.

2024 Lake Alfred Car Show

Our second annual car show held in conjunction with the City of Lake Alfred will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Lion's Park in Lake Alfred. Last year almost 100 vehicles made the show. The facilities are great with fun for the whole family. There will be food, games, music, 50/50, door prizes, trophies and more.

There are two ways to register for the show. Pre-registration can be done by obtaining a registration form, filling it out and mailing it in. Day of the show registration can be done at Lions Park. Registration at Lions Park will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21.

In Memorial

The club was sadden to hear of the passing of member Ron Tietze on July 3, 2024. Ron was a dedicated business owner and spent his life working with  passion and dedication in the field of automobile collision. His commitment to his work and his connection to the community through involvement in the local car shows and cruises, VCCA Automobile Club, Central Florida Streetrod Association., Buckeye Cruisers Camping & Friendship Club are testaments to his vibrant spirit and generous nature.
